3 phase max current

A reminder please brain getting rusty.
UK 3 phase I assume 415V?
With a 16 amp plug do you get 16 amps per phase - ie 3x16 amps?
Plasma cutter 60 amp states 20 amps max current draw on 3 phase 415V.

I’m not an expert but yes 16 amp max per phase with a 16 amp plug

Technically it is suposed to be 400/231V, but most grid transformers have never been tap changed to the new european voltage .
Yes if its 3ph 16 A it will have three x 16A protection upstream, but will peak much higher without blowing.

It's 60A at the torch not 415v. We got a 100A plasma cutter at work it's damn handy. Runs on a 32a supply.

The machines nominal input current/ sqrt of 3
About 11a per phase not allowing for power factor

Sqrt part is due to the phases having cross over.

Should cut 20mm quite handily. I know I have cut 30mm with our 100a but it was stretching it a bit.
