I've seen some 3" mini air supplied sanders that lots of the fabrication guys use to quickly clean up the surface before welding.

I have opted for cordless tools instead of an air supply at home and have managed to find a suitable alternative for almost all the tools I want. Apart from a small sander.

Has anyone seen any small, relatively high rpm sanders that are mains supplied? 3" pistol grip or something along those lines?

I'm using a makita 18v lxt angle drill with 50 and 75mm roloc discs for cleaning metal up and knocking back welds, its surprisingly good even though its low rpm
