If its just to replace the flex wilko do connector blocks for couple quid.

I have upgraded most of my tools to use powercon but its not cheap! I think my first order was eighty eight quid!

There are a few brands that are interchangeable, mine are mostly Seetronic from Thomman.de, before 2020 brexit, and a few panel mount type off ebay.

Panel mount use spade connectors, I havent seen any with screw terminals.

Powercon are OK, if we're talking about the original blue and grey type.

Those newer True1 connectors you have linked to are junk, they don't last and are very poorly designed.

They were all designed for the entertainment industry, which is where most of my work is, so I've seen a heck of a lot of them.

Blue and grey are not suited to tools, for some reason they only do the wrong gender on cable ends or something where as true1 you can get either gender as panel or cable.

Ive not had any problem with durability and quite like the design. Adequate for home use, perhaps not for professional use being dragged on the ground/thrown.

I'm surprised, I've not had any problem that way.
I've been using them on LED floodlights for a while now.

update I just rewired both of them. now they are mine to sell on as the powers that be told me to purchase new ones!

Wow that microwave is 1200 quid new. And the stick blender is 600 quid.

you know that! new mic was a china special £900 new stick blender was £700 also from china! these 2 machines are so much better built mic is german and the stick blender is French I believe.

OK, I have a question. You said that the cables had been burnt by holding the things over the gas flame. Why would you hold a microwave over the fire?

Blender is Robot Coupe, French as you say. Full exploded diagrams and spare parts available on their website. It would be wise to take the cutter head off about 3/4 down the shaft and give the joint a good clean. If the next owner ever needs to replace the blades or bearing cartridge, that joint can make the job impossible if it is seized.

Ha God knows how the microwave cable got burnt I was just guessing that's how the blender cable got dammaged.
