2kw solar panel kit.....

I need the above but must be plug n play........batteries not needed.....
anyone bought something like this lately........
dont want to buy bit's / items from diferent suppliers....
any recomends......

if you buy seperates you can end up with newer stock compared to old stock that suppliers are getting rid of

i mean last years stock that are built before tech moved on to better solar panels are better a year later and produce more

then you have to factor in the price compared to just buying an outright system

the worst bit are those convertors and there guarantees whilst you have to match there outputs from the solar system

from just the solar panels alone theres a choice

over 400 watt per panel 50.00+ or newer models 535 80.00 or 595 98.00 rough price divide x time and loss of solar cells as solar cells do fail over time

then its down to your inverter this is where the fun starts sizing up the inverter for your systems needs or buy dual inverter

sizing with expansion in mind is something you have to think about

youve seen me mention solar sand battery this comes in handy when you need to store heat also best when you want a return of just heating can be used for a swimming pool and for pumping water in dual function or to store the heat

other than your pull down of what ive been saying you havent offered any advice to really remark

if you dont think i havent researched the subject already you maybe surprised

when i consider something for myself i really research into it

whilst my research also included a sand store, building a 2 storey underground with 1 level above ground shed

the sand store alone i reviewed using 15"-24" of concrete alone just for the sand store silo but it cant go high hence the reason for an half underground then i looked into waterproofing it and its the weight of the silo that throws an issue with draining water from the underground shed

whilst heating the silo is easy enough its the heat at the top that is the issue as heat rises that silo can be as hot as 1000f easily taking that sort of heat and swapping it back to central heating or a water tank is interesting

You pay a premium for not just picking the kit you need from a supplier but maybe that's worth it.

Alternatively it may be worth checking local places, an electrical wholesalers near here has started selling solar gear quite competitively apparently.

thank you, we already have a thermal energy storage system installed for our hot water requirements.

this one shows other details like whats needed and parts worth considering

there is one thing i do like when your starting off you can buy one converter and use that then buy another converter to make 2 signals

however with this system you have a back up if a converter fails

compared to just one converter and you get nothing if it fails that includes systems that state 10 year guarantee and then you pay for that system there after

I am truly astonished by just how heap solar panels are. The Chinese ramped up so much there is now a huge glut and they are often sold at below cost.

I am still against mass solar though. Netheralnds now have a problem. Too much solar when it isn't needed - they are paying people a fortune to take it away

Kits seem very over priced. What kind of inverter / psu do you need or want?
I am sure @Gaz or someone else more experienced than me could suggest a good system of separates for you.
That is what I love about this forum. So many people ready to help and put time and effort in to help others
