2K paint shop near Hemel Hempstead?

A mate of mine who lives near Hemel has bought a brand new Triumph Stag body shell that has been sprayed in 2K.

He now wants all the suspension bits from the donor car blasting and spraying 2K black. Any suggestions of who near Hemel can do that for him? I believe he needs it doing in the next few weeks. He definitely wants 2k, not other paint or powder coat.

Any painter can do that job for you but bear in mind many will be WB only

Thanks Paul, sounds like hand painting his suspension in 2K may be the best way unless anybody knows of a particular shop that will do it.

When I worked on restoration, we gave all the running gear to commercial / industrial finishers rather than bodyshops, they blast and paint all in one place, and don't seem to suffer from the same restrictions on what they can use as car painters appear to.

I've had a chat with my lucky mate restoring a Stag. He's going to look around the area for an industrial/commercial finisher however he's also interested in brush painting his running gear with 2K to possibly avoid expensive air fed respirator/compressor costs.

So, if he got the running gear shot blasted, what 2K paints would you recommend, how many coats and although he'll read the safety docs, what is the probable type of mask he would need?
