do you have your gun and pressure set right
could be paint too thick as bs says or could be going on very dry or too higher pressure leaving the texture hard to be exact from a photo
Others elsewhere have suggested that the paint volume is too low.

try increasing the paint flow you should see the paint go on wet ie smooth and an instant reflection but be careful too much and it will run
no pressure loss if the air line is half inch bore finishing with a whip tail to gunYes it is a Sealey S701G. What is the pressure loss over a 10m line? Is it 40psi at the gun or 40 at the reg before the line?

With the pressure down and a small adjustment to the gun I am getting a better finish.
Still struggling to slow my arm down. I try to watch for the gloss as I am moving. Not easy as where I am painting does not have the greatest of lighting.
Got a slight bit of reaction on a part of the bumper for some reason. Hope it might rub out though.
