Hey everyone I need to tig 26 gauge SS and I don't know what amp I should set the machine at. I can tig mild steel and SS with no problem but this thickness is pushing my ability. Im running a miller syncrowave 300 with a foot pedal, tri-mix gas(argon helium and co2), 1/16 inch tungsten and its a lap joint. Im running in low range at 40 amps right now with my post flow at about 6 seconds and it seemed to run ok but this stuff has to look good for us to get the job and it still seemed a bit to hot for it, does anybody have any settings I might be able to use so I can control my arc and speed a little better? Thanks in advance for any help.
