Thanks Sy, sounds like a plan. I can't wait until I can get an electrician to quote, I have no idea what this will cost. I am hoping not too much but it is required regardless.
No problem. Definitely worth getting a couple of quotes!
If you get stuck or it sounds expensive you can always ask on here too!

Would it be ok to buy one of those plugs that take it from 13-16Amps? How easy is it to change this over or is it best to get a Sparks to do it.I run a 180 mig off a 16 amp socket, never had a problem, though I don't run it on full chat much. What would need a 32 amp breaker?
I do have such a circuit/breaker already in my distribution panel, conveniently in the side garage. The previous owner had some sort of a lift, as he was confined to a wheelchair. That circuit is redundant now, and some simple rerouting of wiring could have me a 32 amp garage socket quite easily.
You’ll need a 16 amp supply too, not just the 160mph plug and socket.Would it be ok to buy one of those plugs that take it from 13-16Amps? How easy is it to change this over or is it best to get a Sparks to do it.
My 140Amp Mig welder is tripping the F outa my Domestic electrics.
I have a 160Amp MMA/Lift Tig welder. One of the cheap ones off Amazon, the DekoPro 160A model and it works fine every time but this Hitbox 140 HIM200 Flux core Welder trips the switch every time.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated by anybody on here.. Thanks in advance btw..
