2017 VW Polo 1.0 petrol timing belt interval?

I was doing a fluid and filter change on a friends daughter's car yesterday and was looking at when the timing belt should be done.

Its a 2017 and has done 49k miles, I had a quick look at the belt and no obvious wear or cracks.

There seems to be differing advice on the internet from every 5 years to every 15 years or 180k miles!

Anyone on here have a definitive view?

I am guessing this is the same engine used in Skoda's, Seat's and Audi's.

I'd replace it if I was you. It's the plastic idler pulley that's most likely to fail not the belt. The recommended interval is something ridiculous like 220,000kms but I wouldn't trust one that far. It's a lot cheaper to replace it than fix it if something fails.
