Hi all
I currently have a aew viceroy mill and would like something a little bigger but not humongous, Bridgeport or clone size is what i have been looking at .
How do the clones stack up to a Bridgeport and are there any makes of clones to avoid if i was to go that way .
I have also seen a few clones with an I lam crusader/ 1100 CNC retrofit on them with the ability to use manual control , although i know nothing about CNC it would be nice to learn in future , would it be worth looking at one of these .
I have no fixed purpose for a mill , just as a hobby making odds and sods , i find im restricted with my mill sometimes though .
I have up to 3k to spend on a mill but less is obviously better and im not looking to do a rebuild as i just don't have time due to work .
Any advice would be welcome
