My son wondered if you'd like to see / comment / advise on this & asked me to post on his behalf as he's at school right now.
He created it from 3.2mm copper coated rod, MIG welded & 'coloured' with a propane torch last year as a gift for his retiring Headmaster.
Boot-scaled dragon as no mug available (size 10 for exact sizing)
I don't think he did a bad job for a 14 year old & he's now working on 2 more as commissions (one similar in size to this & a second out of 6mm rod which will be about 1m tall).
Any advice welcomed, thanks.

. He even asked the family for tools for Christmas as well 
But I'd rather he was up in the 'toybox' doing something constructive than hanging around with some of the kids he was at Primary School with.
