I rarely do much work on the old tractor bar servicing, so fitted a sure foot side stand that does not automatically spring up:

And I had sprung a weep with the old original fuel lines going hard, so all new fuel lines made up today after buying the non standard fuel line to fit through the airbox:

Bought back memories, I used to have a blue R75/6, I still miss it.

Always fancied a 75/5 having had a 60/6 , simple but effective , now quite rare .

They are under rated, I like the classic old school BMW looks: combined light and power switch, polished alloy indicators, tls front brake and an electric start that works well with an upgraded battery and still has a kickstart. Good fuel economy and happy sitting at 70 to 80 mph.
