Its very similar in lots of ways just a lot bigger. Luckily I got the complete gear set and steadies faceplate chucks ect.

So add a facsimile speed plate with the correct info. on it to your projects list.
If you post a good, straight on photo of the old one and write down its height and width and the new information it needs to depict, I'd be happy to make a dxf for you.
Minor update. After discussion about VFD settings on @Carl Wilson 's thread had a look at the settings on the VFD and decided to play with the ramp up/ramp down times. They were previously set to the default of 5.0s and 10.0s respectively. Dropped them both down to 1.0s. No DC overvoltage or overload current trips. Could probably safely go a bit faster without anything in the chuck but might be an issue with heavier items so I'll leave it there.
I'm a bit loath to go beyond 1s on decel as its a screw nose lathe. A bit too much braking and the chuck may unscrew and make a bouncy bid for freedom! That VFD has facility for a braking resistor so you could set very aggressive accel/decel times if you needed to. 1s is pretty handy though, especially at threading speeds.
