You might be best looking at a mb 15 euro conversion I did one on mine quite a no of years ago it worked well it was converted to a non live torch in the process I sold the welder a no of months ago

I think you will find the 160 TM is a non live torch with a separate gas valve in the welder were as the torch on the 160 EN is a live torch with a gas valve in the hand piece this is why I had to fit a gas solenoid and slightly change the wiring when I did the euro conversion I believe this is the reason the two torches are not interchangable
@Wozzaaah I may be wrong it's quite a while since I did the conversion on my old one I thought the torch was live and the trigger operated the gas valve and wire feed I have no problem in being corrected if I am wrong
By the way, I'm not sure whether the torch is normally live or only when the trigger is depressed is relevant, since I only wish to use the swan-neck and not the entire torch.
