i have just picked up this 160en turbo
when i first turned it on i noticed the fan not running so i opened it up and freed off the motor it now runs, but the bloke i got it off had concerns about the welding being naff like it had a bad earth, now the earth clamp is the original naff one and it has been hot as the plastic coating has deteriorated, also where the lead that goes to the torch connects to inside the welder has the same melted deterioration
has anyone had similar results?
and what sort of cash should i bid on this machine bearing in mind im looking at a full torch kit rather than just replacing the cables, iv had clarke before and it was spot on but when i parted from my buisness partner i left him with the clarke 110turbo and took the snap-on 130
