Hi folks.
I'm rebuilding a compressor (see my other posts).
The PO has decimated the electrics in the motor capacitor box. There's very little left, though the motor winding wires are still OK so will be able to salvage it.
The capacitors still work, I've sourced a new plastic box, I've bought a new cut-off switch.
The only thing left is the connector box which is long-gone.
I could use a chocolate box or a porcelain 6-way connector, but I'd prefer a factory look if possible. The original would have been a 6-post connector block with brass threaded posts. To these posts were attached a couple of brass bars and some spade connectors. According to the wiring diagram from Clarke, the brass bars can be spun through 90-degrees to turn the motor in the opposite direction.
I've looked everywhere, all the usual places and CEF with no joy. Anyone know what this type of connector is called and/or where I can find one?
Many thanks.
