I've dug out an inverter that packed up I want to try and fix it I dont really know where I would take it so might give it ago it turns on but comes up overload without anything plugged in if you flick the on and off switch you can get power out of it for a second or 2 after watching a load of video it seems when they normally pack up it's just the transistors so was going to pull it apart and test them or is there an expert on here that can tell me I'm barking up the wrong tree

The only one I've repaired was fairly obvious when the cover was removed, a bank of 4 automotive type 15A blade fuses all blown thanks to someone connecting it up backwards to the battery, I replaced all the fuses and it was good to go.
