Are these little beasties allowed through this door?
Eldest is looking for a reliable one for general car/trailer/bicycle tyre/volleyball inflation out in the field. In his words:
It should have a decent pressure gauge. If it has a light that would be useful in the dark. Small is good. Or perhaps it's a portable power bank type USB charging radio playing jump-starting all kinds of magic affair that I should think about?
Or should I just wait for a Lidl/Aldi Special?
I have one in my car in place of a spare wheel but it's never been out of its wrapper since I bought the car 3 years ago, so I have no idea of its reliability and longevity.
Does anyone have experience with one that is truly useful? Price is not necessarily an obstacle; quality is the most important. (He'll probably find one in his Birthday List in May). I imagine he is keen on a reasonable pressure gauge as the chance of him remembering where he left a separate digital one is vanishing small.
No, he doesn't have access to a full-size compressor to charge up an old LPG bottle to take in the field.
