I was wondering if it was just me or does it drive everyone else mad with the almost widely accepted practice of using both metric and imperial dimensions in catalogues and web sites. But not the correct conversion.
You tend to see it with things like collects and shaft diameters.
To me they can not be interchanged. I recently contacted a seller who was advertising mounted stones with a shaft diameter of 1/4" 6mm when questioned they could not see the difference in the two and had absolutely no idea that they were two different sizes.
My air die grinder takes 1/4" and the Hitachi electric takes 6mm. Neither collect will accommodate the other.
