Last april whilst on holiday in Turkey, I passed out, I woke up straight away and was fine straight away, in may I was having a drink of water whilst sat on the bed and I fainted again, I seen the doctor and have had numerous tests, everything has come back fine.
I had a follow up appointment...
I read the other day, somewhere online, that there is £22.00s worth of copper in an ev charging lead, Where I work we have just had 4 double chargers installed, how long before theses become a target.
Car looms are a pain to strip, due to all the tape and glue, copper content is quite good, so you should get a decent price.
I have seen a breaker on youtube, using a shear type attachment on a digger, he removes, the axles and suspension bits, the engine and then rips the dashboard out for the...
My daughter had a seat leon 1.4, the slave cylinder failed, it was an easy diagnosis, as she had no clutch and there was a pool of fluid under the car below the slave cylinder. I replaced the slave cylinder a genuine VW part, but no matter what I did I could not get it to bleed, after a couple...
The father in law joined up even though he was in a reserved occupation, he did a lot of training in Devon, in preparation for the landings.
He landed on gold beach and was shot in the mouth, not long after, this probably saved his life as he was returned back to a hospital in England, he was...
I follow these on youtube, they have a few routemasters, and tend to do all their own repairs, and seem to know where to acquire the spares needed to keep the buses going.

Would you not be better off finding an axle from a commercial breaker, a lot easier replacing an axle or even the hubs, and then you would have some spares to fix at your leisure.
Bit of an update I managed to remove the bracket that holds the microswitch on, the chair moved straight away.
Just got to figure out why it managed to travel too far, there is a plastic moulding that the microswitch works against, I cant see it being worn, but the plastic part is available to...
The first picture is the microswitch, there are 2 microswitches.
There is definetly no way of hand winding it, the last picture is the end of the gearbox.
It looks like you have to dismantle half of the chair to access anything.
Had another go today, I put power direct to the motor, it lurched but didnt move, I tried the wires both ways.
I am not sure if you have to power both motors.
There seems to be 2 power wires on the motor and some thinner wires, I dont know what these do.
There is a smaller motor that powers the...
the stair lift also has a chair that moves from the horizontal posititon as you travel , this is also stuck, instead of being vertical it is at 3 o clock.
not a lot of info on google, it is quite old as stairlifts go, you can buy ones that have had very little use, i suppose that a lot have them fitted and dont use them that much due to personal situations
This was fitted for
With it having 2 motors, is 1 for up and 1 for down?
is it possible to put a direct feed to the motors?
there seems to be a lot of wiring for such a simple device,
it also has a sim card fitted, what is that for?
The limit switch is not really accessible, it is at the rear of the carriage, it looks like the only way to remove it is to strip down half of the stairlift.
there is no manual way of moving the stairlift.
I feel that there is a simple solution but I cant see it.
I am not sure whether this...
