I'm going to use the Mig a lot more than I first thought so I'm in need of gas and input please, at the moment I'm using flux cored s/steel and would like the option of using mild steel also, question is is there a gas that is suitable for both ?

Well I have tried to make contact with the supplier to ask them the same question with no luck as of yet, having said that I cant fault this little machine, if a friend asked me which machine to buy I'd recommend on of these in a heartbeat. thank you to all that have contributed to this post.......!
Right lets throw this in the mix, what if I leave the polarity the same but use gas, will I get better results or do you have too change the polarity regardless ?

Well I've use the mig for the first time with gasless .8 wire and although it did the job I found it more dirty than I expected, don't get me wrong it put down a strong weld using stainless but I could have done it a lot quicker with stick.
Would I be better off with some gas ? if so what...
Hi Iv'e been give what I believe to be a copper rod, looks just like a copper coated steel rod but is not magnetic and melts easily with a blow torch.
Iv'e never come across theses before, not silver, soft or brazing rod, where would these be used?
