Wheels on or off? Not sure if I'm being silly or not but since the Ka has steelies I'm scared I'll warp the wheels by tipping it over like that haha. Probably just being silly.

This seems like a good idea, alhough the Ka seems so fragile compared to my Celica, i'd be scared i'd break something :doh:
I don't have access to a roll over jig, although the matress idea actually seems decent! I may consider it.

Anyways, I was having another look at the car and inspecting for rust, annoyingly I found this on the underside.
I gave it a clean with a wire brush although the area is tight so I didn't manage to...
It's only a 01 Ford KA, I've been given the car for free so thought it would be a good no-risk weld learning project since it would be scrapped anyways.
Fair enough! I don't want to give up since the engine is only on 30k miles though. I might as well give it a shot anyways and it I fail, I'll just scrap the car. The only thing I lose out on is my time and effort!
