I have been watching that channel for some time now and find their work very impressive, especially given the conditions and equipment they are working with.
At least they are welding solid metal, much safer than tack welding repair patches onto rusty vehicles.

Perhaps compare your torque wrench to a premium brand one used by a mechanic if you know any.
Teng tools are good quality and come with a lifetime warranty but would not be my choice of torque wrench.
Norbar is a good brand for torque wrenches.
Get the strongest version of Roundup.
Should kill all vegetation.
Anything else is a waste in my experience.
It will take at least a week to see the effects.
