Hi there . I have the same problem at times . Have you tried putting the eath clamp in a different spot . I also run an earth lead from one end of the steel to the other and weld in between that or point the rod away from the arc blow . If you look up deca or telwin welder's they still do...
Hi yes it's the cel version . I'm very very very happy with it . The arc is soooo smooth . Hopefully I will have many days and nights happy welding with it. I'm starting to build a tipping trailer with it next week
It would be handy to be able to bring it to the field . I had a petrol welder but you'd want shell oil following you around to keep it filled up. The engine gave up in it
I should give abit more information on what I want it for . IV a tractor tipping trailer to make and a land leveler and a good few other jobs round the farm . Will they work on an 8 KVA Genny
Hi lads I lent my arc welder to a mate last week and he messed it up . I'm in the market for a new one . Can anyone recommend a decent plant was thinking of ewm
Hi guys IV another pickhill bantam 180 to refurbish . It needs paint badly . I'm wondering what's the best way to clean off the old paint without damaging the tank v. I need to clean the top as well
I had a Hobart mig 140 years ago it was only 110 volt though I ran it off a transformer it was 60hz . It ran fine . The fan if I can remember was bit slower.
