Thanks for all input folks. ive decided after your advice to place another trap at the lowest point before going back up to the main ring. This also has a couple of traps installed so hopefully will be dry at the point of use.
Thanks again guys im very grateful for the support
Cheers guys for all suggestions this is very reassuring. Im now thinking to position a water trap inside some kind of lidded enclosure before plumbing up through the floor of the shed.
Hi guys, I am in process of plumbing my compresser to the shed and wondered if it were a good idea to plumb the airline underground?
the compresser is a very short distance from the shed - no more than 1.5 metres apart but I was wondering if there would be much of a water condensation problem...
ah ok is 4mm impossible to wire into heavy duty 13amp plug then? do I do the whole 16amp to 13 convert with relevant plugs or just drop to 2.5mm and go from there?
thanks for all replies so good of you all to help.
hi matt Ive just ordered 20m of 4mm arctic cable but is there a link you could provide for suitable plugs please I cant find the masterfit type on google
hiya thanks for the reply this just isnt possible it takes up too much room in the kitchen and is too close to the other residents! is there any electrical solution please?
hi guys please help if you can. Im in rented property and there is a small shed without power 20m from the house. I need to run the compresser (3hp 150l fiac workhorse) from inside the shed but I realise most extension leads wont be heavy enough duty.
Is there any solution using different...
some grand ideas guys thank you so much. I can see how the bleed valve will help the grit flow to mix, would this decrease pressure in the hopper? how would this affect flow rate/cutting speed at the nozzle or is this dependent on the carrier flow? sooo many questions but you are really helping...
im forcing my understanding at the mo prob need some time to think how this all fits together! am glad I joined now, as id really like to get this thing : attached and reliably smooth

rtbcomp cheers for helping out matey, do you mean run another air jet in to the sand tank keeping it agitated? sorry if im asking silly questions, does this dilute the mixture so as to kind of give the grit more fluid dynamic making it a more consitent route to the mixer valve?
Its for rock etching? Ill need to be able to decrease powder flow and increase air flow for precision cutting around areas of the rock I need to preserve. At times, the cutting speed needs to be quite aggressive to smooth off the very hard rock am working on. Really would love it to be a...
Hi thanks for your prompt replies everyone am starting to relax a little!...am pleased that tank size is not an issue...I have seen small coleman tanks that a friend could weld a few bits on for me and there is a carbide grit meter (mini one not a ball type) for about £130?
RTB comp yea those...
Hi everyone, am new here and although am not a welder or car body artist the tools you guys use are pretty similar to mine for use in rock etching/deep cutting. I have been reading on diy blasters and hope someone else can help me please.
