C Chris152 Member Messages 247 Location Cardiff Mar 23, 2026 #1 We're remaking a decorative steel gate, about 6' x 3' wide. The outer frame on the existing (very rusty) gate is 20mm x 20mm. Should that be solid steel, or hollow box section? If the latter, will 2.5mm thickness be adequate? Thanks.
