Ive an irrational desire for one of those cheapish chineesium 7x14 mini lathes, yeah i know they are **** , yeah i know the gears are all plastic yeah I know the fit and finish of cross slides and ways is "variable"

Tapley`s are still used if they get an oddball 4x4 that will jump out of the rollers, even vosa use them on 4x4 and 6x6 commercial tests if they have to.

But, I am not immune to tool desire and some of the more practical ones on here get the pulse going. Not interested in measuring beyond a vernier, but a decent small mill (vertical) would find a good home. Currently wanting a bandsaw to reduce the air pollution, likely sort that soon (after the *** lockdown)
But .. An AC/DC tig, to play with. Manage most of things wth the Mig, Stick and DC tig.
Cors, if I had another, high paying occupation, then the huge w/shop would be full of toys.
