I've made a few sets of bushes and mountings that I couldn't get or were only available in lurid colours
It's pretty easy to do, I made a former by turning a bit of hard wood on the lathe, then wax the former and use that to make a mold out of silicone rubber.
Split the mold, remove the former, mix the polyurethane and pour.
The polyurethane is sort of translucent but if you want a colour they can supply pigments.
I didn't de-gas by pulling a vacuum, but it worked fine

70 to 85 shore is the type you want, some people go for 90 but that's getting as hard as some plastic.
