Thanks for the advice, but all the screws are tight. The buzzing is caused by the top part of the case oscillating. I've got some ideas on how to reduce the noise, but not sure if it'll render the welder dangerous (fire risk?). My idea is to fit some of that draught excluder you used to get in a role between the front facia and the top part of the casing, also doing the same at the back.

In theory this should stop the top casing rattling by providing a dampening/cushioning layer, if that makes sense?

i was going to suggest that also. shouldn't get hot so can't see a fire risk. When i start my welder the magnetism causes the case to flex and hit the transformer but its a bit bigger than an aldi one.
