I have a RO unit at work rather than purchasing de iononised water I was just going to borrow some from the RO that supplies the steam ovens. Any reason why not?

You need to get some out of the pretreatment side (DI) of the system RO water can damage certain components.
Personally I now use red OAT antifreeze as it last 5 years
The question is better for what? RO water is RO water manufactured at point of use for a specific reason, I feel tap is fine quality correct spec antifreeze at the correct strength is the thing to get rightthe RO units are from European water care they incorprate the pre filters before all in the one unit 2 big filters first then the smaller RO ones 4 or 5 of those
I have a drinking water filter on my tap at home maybe that would be better than the RO water I brought home today
We use similar filter, carbon filter, filter again ( to catch any carbon) then chill then RO then EDI.Should be 5 micron pre filter, the activated carbon granules, then carbon block then your RO filters
Just googled them they are just a tiny low volume basic RO plant, it may be RO water as its been through a membrane but I suspect whilst it removes lots of stuff its not like a real industrial RO which has to produce the water to a set standard usually a MHRA of FDA standard.the RO units are from European water care they incorprate the pre filters before all in the one unit 2 big filters first then the smaller RO ones 4 or 5 of those

I feel your tap stuff will be fine and to be honest I feel its better suited as your filter at home will be a basic carbon which will remove most of the bits you will be concerned about
