i have one too didn't know about the adaptor thank youI have one of those airbrushes; it works particularly well off a proper air source like a compressor. There is an adapter available to convert the tiny female thread on the hose end to 1/4" BSP which allows a PCL fitting or similar to go on there.
I got one as well, I think it only needs around 15 or 20psi so you need to turn your pressure regulator right down, they spray lovely, there is also an adaptor to run them off a car tyre but I've never tried that.I have one of those airbrushes; it works particularly well off a proper air source like a compressor. I have an old Badger Air Brush just like that one! Still in its box, but looking tattier than that one.
Bought it in 1977 ish. Wonder if it'll still work...

I suppose the manufacturers had to make their products stand out on the shelves to attract the buyers, no click & collect in those days. Was everything lairy and psychedelic in the 70s?
The fitting on the end of my Humbrol version is a pressed on fitting that goes onto the air can does the adaptor fit onto that or do I need a hose with a threaded fitting like a full size airline ??The adapter on mine is one of these:

as Wookie says, at around 20 PSI, they spray really well.
