916?
It was definitely a Jensen with plywood floor but could have been the earlier model than the CV8. Don't know which engine as wasn't shown that. To be honest this was mid 70's and at the time, and my young age, the car didn't seem anything very special compared to, say, a 3000GT Capri or a Lotus - more of an "old mans car". How times change and early Jensen's now are my taste !Steel chassis and floor moving on from the 541S, a wider version of the 541. I'm not aware of a ply floor in a Jensen CV8 but will endeavour to find out. Maybe a Ford V8 engined car pre CV8? My Father had a Wolseley with a wooden floor my brother stuck his foot through on move and ruined his school shoes, also played with the door handle and fell out on a roundabout. Kind that Father was he went round and picked him up!

My mates father had a yds7? Or 541r ,it had an early form of ABS,made by Dunlop, called maxaret.werent Jensen the first to use 4wd on a production car with the Ferguson formula, pioneered by the inventor harry Ferguson?
Drove a Gordon-Keeble quite a few times years back and i have to say it was a great car, Mainly as it had a big engine and an interior that looked like a 50's aircraft.

Thanks. Doesn't scare me when laid out on that batten Gordon, wrapping it tight enough to keep the Lucas wiring loom smoke in does however!
The Maxeret system was used on many aircraft.
