About 50 Kg of drill bits, the smallest is about 1 mm and some of the bigger ones are around 30 mm and equivalent imperial sizes, plain and MT shank up to MT 4 ( I think). I'll be selling the big morse taper ones as I can't use anything bigger than MT3, unless I buy a bigger lathe and mill (with no spare cash or space, that ain't going to happen) Should be getting hold of more loctite and other chemical goodies as well later today.

Nice little surface bench to use as a mobile welding/vice table (when i get some castors on it), not particularly cheap at £75 but will suit the space i have perfectly, may even live outside as a grinding area and somewhere to stick my sheet bender (work in progress, well, bought the steel anyway).
2' x 2' x 3' high, 7/8 inch top, 3/8 in legs, with half inch top and bottom plates and thick web structure under the plate.
Should stand up to plenty of abuse with the BFH

I would be careful giving it hammer abuse, those tables are quite brittle, (voice of experience on that one, we had one break and fall over) I also wouldn't put castors on it, If you must though make an upturned angle frame for it to stand in and maybe even use the existing holes to fix it to the frame to tie the legs together as they can get a bit wobbly, and break the mounting flange on the underside very useful bench though, nice find.

I was thinking of some sort of framework for the legs anyway, so I could inset the castors off the side of that, without them adding too much to the height as its just about right. There are also some bracing's about halfway up the legs that could be used to support some 1" angle for a shelf frame which would also add some stiffness

It may be worth selling it on if it's still an accurate surface plate and buying a hefty lump of steel to hammer on.
I'd be after anyone who batterd my surface plate - with a big stick!

It's not a surface plate. If it was a surface plate the webbing would be a lot thicker and it would have some provisioning for leveling which is doesn't.
It was probably a rough marking out table or similar.
As it was never inspection grade in the first place then i doubt a bit of abuse now is going to hurt anything.

I just acquired 2 more henrys today too but the cords have been chopped off I will half and old extension lead and fill them both back up. I should really sell them I don't need 8 vacumes

It's always a shame when a proper surface plate gets used as welding table but once it's past it's useable condition I suppose it's the next best thing.
