hope nobody follows this example shown this morning, I guess the "brew room" is the best place to put repairing a cup........

but really, would you pay £20 for some superglue to stick the handle back on to a cup, wait until someone gets a scalded lap from the handle coming off again....

.....throw the cup away and get another one from the pound shop, its the sensible option.

They should have warnings telling people not to try this at home

Perhaps it will be Darwinism in action, those daft enough to waste the money repairing a cup will end up with a scalded lap and then hopefully be unable to breed thus improving the gene pool.....

Gluing a handle on? some years back i managed to break all the workshop cups swinging a length of wood around to cut it. A customer came in to find three of drinking tea from old kitekat tins!

My parents used to save dog-ends and make roll-ups from the baccy. God knows how much extra tar was in them.

Whenever we emptied a ketchup bottle they would stand it upside down on the new one overnight to save the dregs.

Our brown sauce is in an upside down container with the lid at the bottom and the label upside down when we buy it, nowt wrong with that You can keep your dog end roll ups though, save more by not smoking.

The only mug handle repair is using two hose clips, One around the body and one passed through it at 90* to make the handle. We had a few of these at work that had not survived travelling from site to site,

I know that as a foremans mug, you can't drink hot tea out of it without burning your lip. Give it to the foreman & you get a longer tea break as he has to wait for it to cool down
