Heating emegency!

Not sure if anyone can help here but I need a 4 pole "Weinmuller" terminal block for a Potterton Netaheat boiler.

I bought a recon pcb that my wife collected but the terminal side of the connector was missing! Arrrrggghhh
I disconnected the wires not realizing the bit comes off!
The referb shop isn't open on Saturday's!

Any ideas about where I might pick one up locally?
Even dann saff it's a bit cold!

Temporary solution, de-solder it and solder in some flyleads to a terminal strip.

It looks similar to the common phoenix contact connectors.

There are a number of options for the pitch of the pins, so measure carefully.

older tvs have those connectors within them and also maplins have that type of connector if theres one near you that is

I have a maplins nearby but it seems they are delivery only.

I'd just solder flying leads and use connectors

I'm guessing the board was an exchange and he left it on the old which is now in the shop

Yes I left it on the old exchange board! It didn't want to move so I left it on there.

Here's what I've done.
Desolder the old socket.



Add fly leads.


Fit to boiler.

It seems OK, I'm sitting here now watching it.
Fingers crossed it'll work OK now....
