I moderated big time this evening and left it public (no flaming there please even though I can completely understand why you'd want to. I was fuming and think I controlled myself quite well). I think it illustrates quite well why moderators are here. Woz's link fix is another good illustration. Nothing else at all to report this week.

I can't remember how long ago i became a mod here. Must be a few years ago now, before it got as busy as it is nowadays.
Theres no major gains, no cash or anything like that.
I don't know why i do it realy, Malcolm wanted someone else to help, and asked me, so i do.
The reward is seeing the forum run smoothly and seeing people get the advice they need.



A lot of the moderation i do is just deleting rubbish, like duplicate posts, removing adverts for mobile phones, deleting porn, occasionally moving threads into a more suitable category...
