Hey hey, about to fit the fibrous cement roof panels onto the roof of my new workshop. The panels are taken from a my old workshop that got knocked down after a pickup truck drove into it. So there are old holes in the panels. What could I seal the old holes with?
I used to use this masonry sealant, it kind of does the job of silicone but is tougher: http://www.fosroc.com/product/show/nitoseal-ms60
But it's not UV resistant so turned to chalk after a couple of years. Maybe straight silicone would work as it's just small holes?
PS please no comments about asbestos. These are 1990's panels and I spoke with the manufacturer who says they are perfectly safe. Not all fibre cement panels contain asbestos.
