Well it really boils down to the pump used. This is the most expensive item. Fans/rads/pipe/fittings are not too expensive. Most of mine are dear to build but I build them usually for paying people so they get top whack parts.
How much are you willing to pay for the types of pump used to build a cooler?
Well procon pumps and 1/4hp motors are probably the most popular used for DIY coolers and they can cost £200 alone. I like the little pulse pumps like I used in brads. Used properly they can be lovely pumps. They do vibrate and that isn't a good thing I suppose if used on your work bench. These can be sourced for £110 -120.

I was thinking about getting one a while back but when the dampers were added the cost was getting near Procon prices. Here is one on eBay for anyone interested.
Do you screw the rectus fittings on to the torch fittings or cut off and use a rectus barb fitting?
I cut the 3/8 BSP fittings off.
Either actually but the small one causing Brads vibration as mine would be on my trolley so not an issue. Or the Ta size depending

Just search rectus 21 fittings. There are loads of places that do them.
