I had the same one a few years ago, we had the house broken into one night while we were asleep & that was one of the things nicked. The insurance got me another, but not quite the same. I'm always a bit concerned now about carrying it as the blade is about 4 inches long & locks. The law seems a bit ambiguous about these, are they a tool or what? It's the last thing I would use if you wanted to stab someone, by the time you got it out & sorted they would be long gone.

I'm always a bit concerned now about carrying it as the blade is about 4 inches long & locks. The law seems a bit ambiguous about these, are they a tool or what? It's the last thing I would use if you wanted to stab someone, by the time you got it out & sorted they would be long gone.

not knowing the law but know a little as looked in to it quite a few years ago you can carry a knife under 3 inch with good reason where i work i use it quite a bit open boxes basic repaires when i cant be bothered to get the right tool if your going fishing and got a larger knife thats ok as long as you got all the other fishing gear with you

Bought from Argos in a clearance about 7-8 years ago for a pittance. Doesn't get used a whole lot but there are times when it's come in seriously handy.

Wow! They're not cheap, but this was something like 40 quid in an argos clearance , I checked on the off chance and they had one in stock in my local branch (Was expecting the usual "None in stock in your area" to show up). I reserved it and was there in about 5 minutes flat lol

I do really like the idea of the replaceable hardened jaws on that.

My little leatherman family. Must get round to sending the wave back, the large flatblade broke a couple years ago and I've just been living with it. Although to be fair I usually just carry my swiss army knife with me now.
The Crunch is the most recent addition, hasn't seen much use yet but I think it'll be a handy tool.

I do really like the idea of the replaceable hardened jaws on that.

ive used them a few times for stripping wire etc but not tried them on anything heavier than that richard, must say it was one of the things that attracted me to that model, i very nearly purchased a victorinox swiss tool but decided on the leatherman due to the jaws.
