What counts as "solvent based paint" (to go on fibreglass)?

I've had a look on their website, it's a synthetic based primer, no epoxy in it, you don't have to use 2pack, you could 1k synthetic gloss which you can just roll on for a decent finish, it will stick don't worry

That will be a PU primer. To finish you could use another compatible Polyurethane top coat. It is the same situation as my fibreglass boats. I should use Interlux yachtie type paint, on insides of my open boats. I use one part garage floor paint in grey. It is a polyurethane, so suitable for fibreglass. They may be saying to use PU paint rather than oil based.

I wouldn't use synthetic on anything worth any value, its a one shot paint, cant be machined nor could you flat out any imperfections

It's fibreglass specific primer, that has epoxy in it. Sticks like, err, you know what...

Ah yes but it won't stick like a 2K

I tend to use marine paint on fiberglas as the boats these days all use fibreglas and the technology has moved on have a look at Hemple products
as a base coat
