Allen key into a socket

marksman do a kit of long various security/ anti tamper bits for a fiver at my local cheap shop in fact I have bought another set today because they are so handy they are 75mm long and 1/4 hex, You could buy some cheap 1/4 torxs bits or allen bits for a fiver knock out the short keys and tap in the long as they are an interference fit, and nearly always the various bits are 1/4 hex drive in the socket bit for the small ones, if you look closely at the photo , the beauty is the small ones are reduced round shank to get in small deep holes I use them all the time for stuff with anti tamper screws.
whilst not snap on quality they have never failed for me !

Made a few at work and use high strength loctite retainer with a little bit of activator then it will never come out unless you heat it

Interested in the loctite numbers you used for this mate. There are so many that claim to be the strongest. Lol

there are indeed. Will check in workshop on monday on site at the moment. off the top of my head 648 can't remember the number of the activator

It's come back to me I saw them in the window of a car accessory shop in Cork. The sets are made by Teng are available in 5/16 hex and available as standard and long Hex and tamper proof Torx............. and I bought a set six years ago from Machinemart used them maybe 1/2 dozen times when I was repairing parks and play equipment for the council and that is why they are so familiar to me.
