Regulators, Hoses & Masks - Best Prices

All,

I'm planning to go to BOC this week to buy a bottle of Argoshield. I realise that I can get hose and a regulator through BOC but is it better to go to somewhere like Machine Mart or similar?

Also, my welder has a thin translucent tube running into it from the regulator. How does this connect to the larger regulator/gas bottle?

Finally, can anyone recommend a good but reasonably priced filter mask?

I have just found BOC cheaper than most for wire, 0.8 15Kg. £19-?? including VAT. You can check their prices on the web.

The Machine Mart gas regulators are a nasty, throw-away affair. Get a proper industrial one form BOC.

I bought a BOC arc regulator last month - quality reg, I feel a lot safer than a 25 quid tiwanese one
(gas seems to have lasted longer too ?? will know more over next few months)

The web pages were a bit low last week but my quote of £19.?? was what I paid. You need an adaptor for the middle of the reel but they gave me mine, normally £3.
