Wheres the cheapest place to buy an new 18" stillson type pipe wrench

Quality of the tool isn't important as long as it's made of metal. They will never be used as a pipe wrench

I need four of them for a little project I have in mind

£6.50 is very cheap though Parm, I reckon one or two wacks and they'll be knackered.

The idea is in my head at the moment so no pictures.

The plan is to have a wrench at each corner of a thick oak table top. The wrench will be set into the top and made to look like its crushing the wood with its clamping force.

In theory it should be quite simple, with most of the project being a wood working excercise

Buy three as in the picture above then your table won't wobble if there is any uneven floor or alike

That's the concept but I'm after a square (ish) table to go next to my chair. Something that can prop up my lemonade. Plus the fitting will be a little different with the jaws made to look like they are crushing the wood, that's the theory bit
