As mentioned in a previous thread I was concerned to how quickly this product takes to cure/harden. Applied three months ago, two heavy coatings via roller to the interior side of the floorpan, 4:1 ratio as instructed. Gave it the fingernail test today, it's much harder than it was but in certain denser areas I can make an indentation and very easy to scratch with the edge of a flat blade screwdriver.
Just over month ago, using a scrap piece of metal I experimented with a 1-1 ratio, one heavy coat via brush. In most areas it's a soft as putty and easy to peel off to this very day.
It does mention in the instructions that each coating should be no more than around 300 microns (about a third of a millimetre) Using another piece of scrap metal and with a roller I attempted to the really spread the paint out, giving an ultra thin coat. This seems to have concluded better results with harder finish. However using this method I'll need to maybe 3-5 coats to ensure good coverage.
Anyone else encounter this with this product?
