If you do this make sure it's decent quality 8.8 or 10.9 studding rather than no-name stuff made of cheese, otherwise you won't get much clamping pressure before it strips.or this is my version of clamps and work holding. the threaded rods are M6 and the clamps / T nuts are 1/4" thick.
