spot on or a darning needle ;Should be spring terminals normally you push a small screwdriver into the slot above the cable hole and it lifts the terminal so you can remove the cable.
Its when they put them close to the edge of a board then stick the pcb right up against the enclosurespot on or a darning needle ;
Lowering it down is easy put a bin liner in each of four or five cheap plastic buckets, fill them with water and freeze it . adjust the height till you can insert the inverted ice cube at strategic places under the tub , remove all wood & let the cubes melt on their own
So me and my lad lifted it without any drama's, used a motorcycle lift to get it the first 18" then just lifted it from there.
The reason I am lifting it is to replace this,

The wooden frame at the bottom is rotten all the way round and this has caused the middle of the "tub" to sag by an inch at the front resulting in the tub starting to crack. Shame as the rest of the hottub is still great after 15 years!
So, as Brightspark was watching this, a related question. The mains cable goes into this connector,

I am ******** if I can see how to release the cable, any ideas?

look above the live lead screw on the board says GND on it looks like it should be earthed
just looked odd with no wire on it
