fit standard hoses on to your bottles in to the shed get some couplings and join to the reel job done
I was thinking more in terms of chaining the bottles up outside somewhere and piping in iron to a few places around the building with takeoffs but with some kind of emergency shut off solenoid, whatever I do it will need to be given the nod by the insurers. This has only been a problem with them in the last few years. Anyone here up to speed on regs?

What happens with copper and acetylene?![]()
dont think the centre swivel will pass much lectric unless you can turn the lectric into a gas then change it back into lectric at the end ?? !what about a cheap compressed air reel and change the hose for welding cable.?
it was more to keep it tidy with automatic recoil.....dont think the centre swivel will pass much lectric unless you can turn the lectric into a gas then change it back into lectric at the end ?? !
Our insurance company kicked off about bottles stored in the buildings so I thought I would pipe in the gas and have a reel in the mancave, the trouble is there is only 25 feet of hose on the reel and its probably never going to be in the right place. It needs a rethink, this one was about £100 from the Bergen man with the mobile van.

is it approved standard ??I'd be a little uncomfortable trusting Bergen tools to keep oxygen and acetylene safely sealed where moving parts (i.e reel) are concerned.
a similar thought did cross my mind too.I'd be a little uncomfortable trusting Bergen tools to keep oxygen and acetylene safely sealed where moving parts (i.e reel) are concerned.
