lol yes mate...I dont know where the guy who fitted it picked up the feed for the lights. I am pretty sure he did not go all the way back to the trips.Have you checked all the easily accessible places first?
I have found some connection blocks. This is the one I think should be powering the lights.

The only thing I can think of is around 6 years ago my son drilled into the wall and it went bang.... but this was fine afterwards.Have you done any building works close by that could be something like a screw or nail through a cable, or anything moved for decorating that could of snapped a wire inside a fitting.
Is this lighting circuit covered by a RCD or RCBO or just a MCB/Fuse.
No mate. that's just it. they all seem to be supplying power to something.do u have a lighting cable back at db that doesn't do anything and u think its faulty and supplies the lights ??if so leave it disconnected and run a new feed to where u can connect to the known cables
If I did not already have a leak in the roof yes maybe.Ok I've been to the pub and I'm slightly ****** but is it only me that thinks taking up the roof is a bit ott?![]()
just this minute solved it......I managed to trace the wires due to the opening in the roof. Sadly for me it was a bloody fuse in a box I thought supplied the central heating in the airing cupboard.I'd be getting a sparky in.....![]()

I am fitting plastic hatches..I would be tempted to replace the joints in the roof space with something screwless and maintenance free.
Maybe wago.![]()
They can just blow( usually upon turning on) but my guess is when the bulb in the utility room went it took out the fuse. I stand to be corrected. Can you tell what caused the fuse to blow?Or do they just fall over with old age.......?
