Jugs, never in a million years would I have realised you had trouble with your spelling, your posts have never given any indication of that at all.

Snowy, your spelling may not be 100% but your posts are always readable and very, very informative. What you may lack in being able to write things down is, in my opinion, shadowed 10 fold by the sheer amount you seem to know about, well, pretty much everything really.

Bucko, thankyou very much for using the spell checker, it certainly makes a very big difference to your posts.

Why is that then? There are only a few exceptions surely. I find it a useful rule, though it probably wouldn't work so well with your Latin where they jumble their vowels up any old how.

Here are some exceptions ( i did google most of them of course)

beige, codeine, concierge, conscience, deify, deity, deign,
eider, eight, either, feign, feint, feisty,
foreign, forfeit, freight, heifer, heigh-ho, height, heinous, heir, heist,
leitmotiv, leisure, neigh, neighbor, neither, prescient,
rein, science, seine, seismic, seize, sheik,
society, sovereign, surfeit, veil, vein, weigh, weight,
weir, weird


there are 16 of those words that i use regularly, maybe i'd better memorize them. Okay so i am a bad spellur
