airline connector thread help please

on the left is a airline fitting that fits my current airline set up

on the right is fitting that came with a Chinese tool

can anyone guesstimate what thread the right hand side one with the vernier on might be? i need the right side threads with the left side coupling

If had the same problem with a digital tyre gauge from Aldi, I wanted a PCL fitting, but it had an odd thread in it. I ended up using a piece of rubber tube over the existing fitting with a jubilee clip & then fitting a hose to PCL fitting in the end. Made a sort of whip hose out of it, it's worked for a couple of years like that.

Probably american 1/4 npt.

edit: You can find those "euro" fittings you have in 1/4 npt in packs of 5 with a female adaptor on ebay quite easily and cheaply.

It's not the right way but normally a 1/4BSP will nip up in a 1/4NPT hole. There are hundreds of tools across the country running 1/4BSP in 1/4NPT air tools, most Snap On tools are 1/4NPT but none of the dealers have 1/4NPT PSL fittings available

Last time I needed to replace an odd air line connector they were the place local to me who could help.
They had to use an adaptor.
Worth a shot.

You have the taper bspt variant

its probably M12 Fine you'll need to measure the thread pitch

tapered Metric Fine, looks like it could be 12mm x1mm metric fine.

M11 would be slightly smaller than 11mm
i've just taked the one out of an old aldi/lidl air gun and its M12 x 1.0 which is a special pitch. it'd use a bit of hose to be honest

might try and drill the headbolt or get a mate to drill it....use that with a pig tail on worst case

Cut both the fittings shown in the first picture through the hex part where the spanner fits and then just weld the two bits you want together.
